El Reno gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Guymon Tigers with a sharp 56-32 victory. The Indians are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 29 straight dating back to last season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Reno to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilly Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Thomas a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Emmary Elizondo, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
