Both SouthLake Christian Academy (4-6) and Concord First Assembly Academy (6-5) have made it this far into the playoffs, but they square off this Friday to determine who is worthy to move on. Concord First Assembly Academy will be looking to take advantage of a struggling SouthLake Christian Academy defense that has allowed an average of 28 points per game.
Last week, SouthLake Christian Academy took on Rabun Gap-Nacoochee. SouthLake Christian Academy's defense put the team in a good position heading into the break, holding Rabun Gap-Nacoochee to a measly three points. That put SouthLake Christian Academy at a 14 - 3 advantage. The offense wasn't without success either, scoring 16 points in the second half. That ultimately gave them a 30 - 17 win.
Meanwhile, Concord First Assembly Academy can now show off six landslide victories after its most recent game. It took its game against Asheville last week by a confident 31 - 7 score. 31 seems to be a good number for Concord First Assembly Academy as the team scooped up a win with the same point total the game before.
While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
