Make it three blowout wins for the Patrician Academy Saints this season. They claimed a resounding 59-31 victory over Sparta Academy on the road. The team accrued 49 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
Sparta Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brodie Fowler, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fowler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sam Cook, who scored 11 points.
The win (which was Patrician Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29 points. As for Sparta Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
Patrician Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sparta Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
