Minnehaha Academy had to settle for second on Friday, but Emmy Hurray sure wasn't going down easily. Hurray didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Hurray and Minnehaha Academy will square off against Breck at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Red Hawks are a perfect 10-0 against the Mustangs going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
