The Charter Oak Chargers will take on the San Dimas Saints at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.
Charter Oak proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out El Dorado 4-3.

Leila Diebert was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mikayla Diebert, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, San Dimas hadn't done well against Diamond Ranch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. San Dimas narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Diamond Ranch 3-2.
San Dimas saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Martinez has posted since back in February.
Charter Oak's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for San Dimas, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1.
Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Charter Oak has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like San Dimas struggles in that department as they've averaged .453. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Charter Oak beat San Dimas 6-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Charter Oak repeat their success, or does San Dimas has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
