The East Bakersfield Blades will head out to face off against the North Stars at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
East Bakersfield took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against South as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Blades haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-19.

East Bakersfield's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kaylie Demison, who had 32 digs and two assists, and Roxanna Ramirez, who had seven aces and six digs. That's the most aces Ramirez has posted since back in August.
They weren't the only good servers: East Bakersfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, North hadn't done well against Tehachapi recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Stars skirted past the Warriors 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Stars have posted since October 17, 2024.
North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 11-25, 25-21, 25-18, 15-7.
East Bakersfield better focus on containing London Kleeman and Remi Ford as the pair were huge in North's win. Kleeman had nine kills, nine digs, and one block, while Ford had 15 kills and two blocks. Kleeman has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amber Redoble, who had 13 digs.
East Bakersfield's record is now 12-5-1. As for North, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-10-1.
East Bakersfield came up short against North in their previous meeting back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Blades avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
