Holy Redeemer is 9-1 against Wyoming Seminary College Prep since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Royals will challenge the Blue Knights at 4:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.
Holy Redeemer had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Holy Cross on Saturday. The Royals never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Royals have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cody Quaglia was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Hurst, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Wyoming Seminary College Prep had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with an 11-3 victory.
Teddy Kraus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caleb Aponick, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Donovan, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Wyoming Seminary College Prep pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Redeemer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.
Holy Redeemer came out on top in a nail-biter against Wyoming Seminary College Prep in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
