Meanwhile, Faith Christian faced Jefferson Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Faith Christian fell just short of Jefferson Christian Academy by a score of 48-45.
Faith Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from Aaron Ridge, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was Ridge's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Burton, who scored 10 points.
The losses dropped Timberlake Christian to 0-3 and Regents to 1-1.
Monday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Timberlake Christian haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 0 turnovers per game. It's a different story for Faith Christian, though, as they've been averaging 14 per game. Given Timberlake Christian's sizeable advantage in that area, Faith Christian will need to find a way to close that gap.
