Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against West Boylston/Tahanto, Ayer Shirley/Bromfield were happy to find some success last Friday. Ayer Shirley/Bromfield won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Murdock 27-26. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Lunenburg didn't have too many spare points in their matchup with Ayer Shirley/Bromfield the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 30-26 win.
