The Franklin Flyers lost against the Blue Hill Bobcats last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Franklin ended up on the wrong side of a rough 49-25 walloping at the hands of the Bobcats.
Franklin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gregory Boettcher, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Blue Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
Franklin is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Harvard is ranked 280th, while the Flyers are ranked 276th). As for Blue Hill, they will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 71.9 points per game this season.
