Edison Academy dropped their record down to 12-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They lost 8-2 to the Huron Chiefs. The Pioneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for Huron, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For Huron's part, the team relied heavily on Dayton Miller, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin O'Dell, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

While Edison Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
