The Norwich Eagles came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 51-38 victory over Pretty Prairie. That's another feather in the cap for Norwich, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gage Bowers, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Young, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds.
Norwich is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Pretty Prairie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Central Christian the next time they take the court. Norwich will host Central Christian on January 30th, while Pretty Prairie will host them on February 2nd.
