The Crestview Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Huron Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Crestview took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Port Clinton.
The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crestview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lena Kahl, who had 13 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Kahl has posted over her last six contests. Emma Horner was another key player, getting 11 digs.
Meanwhile, Huron waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past Galion 3-0.
One reason for the win was Huron's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-6.
Huron's win came from a few key players Crestview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Adelyn Van Sickle, who had 12 digs. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.
Crestview's record now sits at 16-7. As for Huron, their record is now 18-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Crestview has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Huron struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Crestview suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Huron when the teams last played back in October of 2019. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
