Seaford is 8-2 against Laurel since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Seaford Bluejays will be playing at home against the Laurel Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. Seaford will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive.
Seaford can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by Indian River on the road to the tune of 69-36. With Seaford ahead 41-21 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Seaford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vincent Evans out in front who scored 11 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Evans hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jordan Smith, who scored 15 points.
Laurel posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They skirted past Woodbridge 72-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Seaford's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Laurel, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
