 Meanwhile, Madison put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Avery County  a   3-0 shutout. Give Madison's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
 Mountain Heritage  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-4-1. As for Madison, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
