Sadly, the O'Connell Boilermakers are still looking for their first win of the season after 15 games. They were the victim of a tough 71-51 loss at the hands of Balboa on Wednesday. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for two points.
Leading Balboa to victory were Alan Ly and Je'Mon Brown. Ly scored 14 points along with five steals, while Brown scored 20 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Hart, who scored seven points along with six steals.
O'Connell dropped their record down to 0-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Balboa, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
O'Connell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Balboa also has no future games currently scheduled.
