Mt. Abraham had a rough outing against Mount Anthony last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Mt. Abraham enjoyed a cozy 36-18 win over Otter Valley. Otter Valley can consider this payback for the 22-49 loss they dealt Mt. Abraham the last time the teams encountered one another.
After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Mt. Abraham offense stepped up its game and put 14 points on the board in the second quarter. Otter Valley put up 6, so the score was 14-6 at the half. The offense for Mt. Abraham continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 22 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 1-2. The defeat dropped Otter Valley's record to 1-2.
Mt. Abraham will stay at home next week against Lyndon Institute at 7:00 PM. As for Otter Valley, they will face off against U-32.
