Rutland had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Northeast Raiders on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rutland was: they took both sets by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Rutland's win bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Northeast, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Rutland will head out to square off against Howard at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Northeast, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Central on the 24th.
