The NYOS Charter Jaguars were the 40-26 winner over the Harmony Science Academy Tigers when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. NYOS Charter was beaten by Harmony Science Academy 52-25 on Thursday.
Harmony Science Academy found their leader in underclassman Sarah Koughloughli, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Koughloughli scored 15 or more points. Crystal Long-Williams was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
NYOS Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Harmony Science Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
NYOS Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Harmony Science Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Meridian at 5:00 p.m. on January 16th. Meridian is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
