When it comes to explaining why Morro Bay lost, one person who can't be blamed is Justin Campbell. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. The contest was Campbell's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sands Doughtery, who scored 15 points.
Stone Ridge Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daijon O?neil out in front who dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was O?neil's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Brock Richards was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 22 rebounds.
Morro Bay now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Stone Ridge Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Morro Bay will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Grace at 12:30 p.m. on December 16th. Grace is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
