The North Attleborough Rocketeers''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lynnfield and snuck past 14-11.
Leading North Attleborough to victory were Chase Frisoli - QB c/o '25 and Ryan Bannon. Frisoli - QB c/o '25 rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, while Bannon rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown. Bannon is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played.
When it comes to explaining why Lynnfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler Adamo. Despite the final result, he threw for 215 yards and a touchdown.
North Attleborough's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lynnfield, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Attleborough will take on King Philip Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King Philip Regional is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Lynnfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Lynnfield is ranked 32nd).
