William Tennent has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Neshaminy Skins at 1:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, William Tennent narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Wissahickon 40-37. Despite the win, that was the fewest points William Tennent has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Neshaminy beat Central Bucks South 58-50 on Thursday.
Neshaminy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emeer Coombs, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The game was Coombs' third in a row with at least ten points. Nate Townsend was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
The win got William Tennent back to even at 4-4. As for Neshaminy, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
William Tennent didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Neshaminy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 71-67 victory. Will William Tennent repeat their success, or does Neshaminy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
