Ethan Maddy looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Khyler Farris, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Troy Griffin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Brewer's record now sits at 18-10. As for Mansfield Legacy, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9.

Looking ahead, Brewer will square off against Azle at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mansfield Legacy, they will challenge Paschal at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
