Millers Creek Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JADYN COTHREN, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which COTHREN has scored at least 25% of Millers Creek Christian's points.
Community Baptist's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.0 points per game. As for Millers Creek Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westover Christian Academy on January 4, 2024. As for Millers Creek Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
