Eastwood wouldn't go down easily and took Genoa Area into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-14, 25-10, 24-26, 15-11.
Eastwood can attribute much of their success to Gianna Coalson, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Coalson has posted since back in September.
Eastwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.
Archbold is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Eastwood, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
