Varadi has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Varadi was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Northwest Guilford let  Jenna Copeland and  Haylea Huffines loose on the outfield. Copeland  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double, while  Huffines  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 On Southeast Guilford's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jessica Wilson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Northwest Guilford's victory was  their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Southeast Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
