In what's become a running theme this season, the Bryan County Redskins gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 67-39 victory over St. Vincent. Winning may never get old, but Bryan County sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
St. Vincent's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elsie Thompson, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Ghaleb, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Bryan County's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3. As for St. Vincent's, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Bryan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Vincent's, they will head out on the road to take on Savannah Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Vincent's is facing Savannah Christian at the right time seeing as Savannah Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
