DECATUR, Ala. - the Red Raiders scored 28 points in the first quarter to secure a big 42-0 victory over Grissom (Huntsville, Ala.) on Saturday.
Decatur scored on a
Jackson Fite touchdown pass to
Anfernee Wallace, a touchdown run by Fite, an Wallace touchdown run and a touchdown pass by Fite to
Michael Bean in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Fite to Wallace in the first quarter, DHS was up 35-0 at the half.
The Red Raiders expanded their lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. Decatur scored once in the quarter on a kick return touchdown by Bean.
DHS went into the matchup giving up only 17.7 points per game.
With the win the Red Raiders extended their winning streak to three games.
