Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Steele Knights walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hawks on Friday as they made off with a 48-27 victory. The win was familiar territory for Steele who now have 11 in a row.
Chad Warner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 281 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Steele also got help from Jalen Cooper who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.
Steele's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Harlan, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 12-1.
Steele will head out on the road to face off against Dripping Springs at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Dripping Springs is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Harlan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
