The Westmont Sentinels made easy work of the Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers on Monday and carried off a 17-2 win. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 12 runs or more this season.
Gwyneth Jindra made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Cate Jackson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Grace Detente, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
