Kash Cobb's Big Game Leads Weiser over Fruitland
Kash Cobb's big game helped extend Weiser's winning streak to six on Friday. Cobb turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 221 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
On the season, Cobb has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 136.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Pecunia Posts Huge Game in 26-13 Win
Darrien Pecunia helped snap Payette's four-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Pecunia on Friday as he rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending two passes.
Pecunia and Payette will take on Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pecunia will face off against Kolin Cook, the Wolverines' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Ethan Minegar Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Ethan Minegar posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Cole Valley Christian over Payette on Friday. Minegar picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.
Cole Valley Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Minegar and Cole Valley Christian will square off against Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fruitland was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Coye Coffman did his best to prevent it. Coffman turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 76 receiving yards.
Weiser's probably not too fond of Coffman given he always seems to get the better of them. Coffman picked up 56 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolverines duked it out back in October of 2023.
