Kaleb Willoughby Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Byers got the W thanks in part to Kaleb Willoughby playing the best football he has all season. Willoughby rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Trechter Came Up Big in St. Mary's 24-20 Victory
St. Mary took down Calhan on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Michael Trechter's performance. Trechter was unstoppable, throwing for 196 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 80 yards.
For the year, Trechter has thrown 10 touchdowns (and and only 2 pick) while averaging 183.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he had six passing touchdowns.

Elbert picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Matt Dooley. Dooley was unstoppable, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 60 yards.
