The Rio Hondo Bobcats lost against the Port Isabel Tarpons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rio Hondo's tough 7-1 loss to Port Isabel might stick with them for a while. Rio Hondo has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rio Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Port Isabel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Hondo will stay at home for another game and welcome Jubilee Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Port Isabel will take on IDEA Sports Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Port Isabel will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
