Lincoln Charter has gone a perfect 8-0 against Langtree Charter Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Horne wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Lincoln Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Langtree Charter Academy lost 15-4 to Lincoln Charter. The Lions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Easton Roschke made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lincoln Charter's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lincoln Charter has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .546. However, it's not like Langtree Charter Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
