It was a good run, but The North Bend Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 44-20 defeat at the hands of Ashland. North Bend was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ashland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Gavin White was on fire for Ashland: he rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Jojo Harrower, who threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns.
North Bend's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Ashland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
North Bend will look to defend their home field on Friday against Henley at 7:00 p.m. Henley will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Ashland, they will head out on the road to face off against Klamath Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klamath Union comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
