Xenia is 0-10 against Tippecanoe since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Xenia Buccaneers will head out on the road to face off against the Tippecanoe Red Devils at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Xenia sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-32 win over Coopersville. The victory was just what Xenia needed coming off of a 54-24 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Tippecanoe scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Troy 53-37. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Tippecanoe has managed all season.
Xenia's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tippecanoe, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Xenia came up short against Tippecanoe when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 51-44. Can Xenia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
