Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Jaxon Garcia Delivers Electric Effort Vs Santa Gertrudis Academy
Falfurrias's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jaxon Garcia. Garcia was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 150 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Garcia will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Progreso on Friday. The Fightin' Jerseys got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Ants, probably because Garcia had a solid game then too: he threw for 105 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 43 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
