Shepherd Hill Regional extended the longest winning streak in Southern Worcester County - A this week by beating Nipmuc Regional, 32-12. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Tantasqua Regional lost to St. Peter-Marian 50-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Shepherd Hill Regional's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drew Jean-Guillaume threw for 57 yards and James McGuigan had 47 yards receiving. On the ground Jake Gelb chipped in 125 yards.
Gelb provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Chris Lindstrom's team defeated the Warriors. Gelb's key target this week was McGuigan, who caught 4 passes for 47 yards.
McGuigan was the best receiver in the league this week as the Rams defeated Nipmuc Regional.
Shepherd Hill Regional's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jean-Guillaume has thrown for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while McGuigan has 6 catches for 95 yards.
