The Hickory Christian Academy Knights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Statesville Christian 86-37 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Hickory Christian Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.
Hickory Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Robinson, who scored 27 points along with nine rebounds. Robinson is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Massey, who scored 23 points along with five assists and four steals.
Hickory Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Statesville Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hickory Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Varsity Opponent at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th. Varsity Opponent has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 26. As for Statesville Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Hills Christian at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully North Hills Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
