Estill took down Denmark-Olar 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. DeAngelo Bryant threw for 52 yards and ran for 129 yards in the win.
Whale Branch made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,076 from 10,506. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 47-0 victory over Branchville last week.
Devonte Mitchell was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Fighting Gators beat the Vikings. The 5-foot-10 sophomore forced 2 fumbles.
Bryant was a passing and rushing force as Estill defeated Denmark-Olar.
Jarvis Singleton was the most successful running back in A Region V this week. He ran for 121 yards on 7 carries as J.C Threatt's team beat Michael Jordan's team. Bryant also contributed to the rushing game with 129 yards on the ground.
The Vikings' Ricco Parler and Kennth Butler led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Parler has thrown for 762 yards this season, while Butler has 7 catches for 265 yards. The Fighting Gators' Singleton leads the league in rushing yards with 1,000.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Allendale-Fairfax takes on the Yellowjackets. At the moment, the Tigers are in second, while Branchville is in fourth.
