Volleyball Recap: Tigerton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Tigerton's win against White Lake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Lakers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Tigerton got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 24-26, 25-13, 17-25, 15-4.

Presley Stewart-Rolfs paced Tigerton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stewart-Rolfs got some help from Danika Tiller and her 21 assists. Jaelyn Brady controlled things from the service line, finishing with 15 aces.

Several Lakers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Neveah Olson, who had 13 digs.

Tigerton's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for White Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Tigerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Almond-Bancroft on the 16th. As for White Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Northland Lutheran on the 16th.
