If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Seaside. On Friday they take on Astoria at 7:00 PM. Seaside are coming into the matchup hot, having won three in a row.
Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Seaside and Gladstone were playing football. Seaside made easy work of Gladstone last Friday and carried off a 70-46 win.
Meanwhile, Astoria were close but not close enough as they fell 22-24 to Estacada.
Seaside's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Astoria's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Seaside can add another positive mark to their record or if Astoria can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Seaside's step.
