Jacob Smith gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Smith and Tamarac will square off against Waterford-Halfmoon at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Smith had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 14-5.
