The Woodland Hills Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Penn Hills Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Penn Hills is ranked 74th).
Last Tuesday, Woodland Hills ended up a good deal behind Fox Chapel and lost 60-41.
Meanwhile, Penn Hills scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 83-69 win over Plum. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Woodland Hills' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Penn Hills, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7.
Woodland Hills came out on top in a nail-biter against Penn Hills in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 68-65. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodland Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
