The Pleasanton Blu-Jays's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-46 win over Jayhawk Linn. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pleasanton also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pleasanton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mario Davis, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Davis is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Tony Gillespie was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds.
Pleasanton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Jayhawk Linn, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7.
Pleasanton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Uniontown at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Jayhawk Linn, Jayhawk Linn and Oswego will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Oswego focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday.
