The Geneseo Maple Leafs will challenge the Rochelle Hubs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Geneseo sitting on  five straight  victories and Rochelle on three.
Geneseo will bounce into Friday's   matchup after  beating Quincy, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Maple Leafs simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Blue Devils 45-7. The  game marked the Maple Leafs' most dominant  win of the  season.
 Jackson McAvoy was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 198 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 31 yards and a pair of  TDs. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  passing touchdowns (two). Geneseo's leading receiver  Kye Weinzierl was  McAvoy's top target yet again, picking up 19 receiving yards and one  score, while also punching in one  touchdown on the ground.
 Geneseo's run defense was locked in: Quincy could only muster 3.5 yards per carry. The Maple Leafs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.8.

 Meanwhile, Rochelle made easy work of Waterloo  on Friday and carried off  a  27-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hubs, who have now won four contests by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Geneseo's record is now 7-2. As for Rochelle, their record now sits at 6-3.
 Geneseo was dealt a bruising  41-14 loss at the hands of Rochelle in their previous meeting  back in August. Can the Maple Leafs avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
