On Monday, Millbrook ended up a good deal behind Brentsville District and lost 46-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Millbrook has scored all season.
Brentsville District's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Brown, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Coombs, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Brentsville District, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
Millbrook won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Spring Mills at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Spring Mills is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Millbrook is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Brentsville District will take on Kettle Run at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
