Peyton can attribute much of their success to Sammie Nickell, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards, and Scarlett Clark, who posted 14 points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. Clark is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Meanwhile, Harrison humbled Pueblo Central with a 53-24 victory. The Panthers pushed the score to 44-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Peyton, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
