Rye barely beat La Veta the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbolts were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Redhawks on Saturday. The  win was nothing new for the Thunderbolts as they're now sitting on three straight.
 The final score came out to 25-18, 25-9,  25-10.
 Isabella Bond paced Rye's offense, picking up nine kills. Bond got some help from  Olivia Donlon and her 22 assists.  Lauren Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Rye's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for La Veta,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-21.
 Rye didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Pueblo Centennial on the 27th. La Veta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
