Thomasville won the last time they faced High Point Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 16-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 11 runs or more this season.

Matthew Bankhead and Mkyel Duncan did most of the damage at the plate: Bankhead went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI, while Duncan scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. Duncan has become a key player for Thomasville: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Travail Barnes, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for High Point Central, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
